Bus Tour of Dublin ...

When it's raining and wet, it's always good to do a bus tour! Though it wasn't actually pouring down while we drove around Dublin. Here are a few sights ...

There's a great view from the Guiness Storehouse but we didn't stop in ...

The Smallest Pub in Dublin ....

Dawson's Lounge - the smallest pub in Dublin! Initially we couldn't find it (!) as it wasn't located where the guide book had marked it.
Though when we did, Erin was at once at home!

We made some friends who were in Dublin for the Rod Stewart Concert, and to buy wellies. The exceptionally fun, and kind people who organised our stay in Derry!

It definitely had the feel of another smallest pub ... :o)

St Stephen's Green, Dublin

Had a quick saunter through St Stephen's Green, though it was still raining (hence the wrapped-up look!). Shouldn't have been surprised at the weather ... it was, after all, July.

Dublin

First on our list to-do in Dublin was to wander around.
That was soon abandoned because it was pouring down with rain.

Trinity College (in the rain).
Next on the list - to find some place for a drink!

Cafe En Seine (which was more pretty inside than this dark picture lets on!)

The faithful Guiness and Magners ...

And lunch at the Stag's Head ... (mine was the little diet coke!)

Ryan Air ...

We flew to Ireland for a long weekend ... with Ryan Air. My first, and probably last time to fly with them! However, we did enjoy the airport departure area prior to boarding! Thankfully our new friends weren't flying to Dublin!
