Their distinguishing characteristics include looking like they have a toilet seat on their bottoms! Demonstrated beautifully in the last picture!

Gemsbok!

I think Gemsbok are my favourite animals! I must confess that it also tastes quite good too!

Ostrich!

Just after the conference we went to a Lion and Rhino reserve to see some animals! They were a little more "tame" than those in our reserve (the ones that ran away!). Here are some ostriches ...

We aren't too far from civilization with such a backdrop of power lines!
