We had a bus tour of Robben Island. Our guide was both very knowledgeable and hilarious! He was secretary for one of the freedom groups and although never spent time in prison on Robben Island was in close contact with many of the political prisoners. He started out by asking which countries the people on the tour were from and then thanked each country for their part in putting pressure on South Africa to end Apartheid. Was very moving.
