It was a lot quicker to hike down ... not least when I misplaced my foot and fell off the path .... grabbing a shrub which didn't seem to want to hold me up!! Thanksfully I was rescued back to our path. In all, our 4ish hour hike-wear your shorts-the sun will shine turned into a 7 hour hike but it was thoroughly enjoyable.
