Even in Zambia there are Christmas Elves! We had a great time at Jollyboys Backpackers and met some very interesting folk along the way. Not least some guys who knew Carolyn's brother, they were traveling through Africa kayaking on all the rivers. One guy was the world champion kayak-off-a-waterfall person ... though after finding out his record was something like 92 ...(92 feet, but that wasn't specified!) I thought he was there to kayak off Victoria Falls (102 metres). Thankfully he wasn't that silly!
We also met some Peace-corp folk enjoying some time at the end of their service, and lots of holiday travelers!
