Ziplining ...

One of the adventures on the "to-do" list for Stormsriver is Ziplining (Canopy Tours). [Also on the list is the highest bungee jump in the world but we picked the Ziplinng instead!!]. We booked in for 7am and were all set for our ziplining!

Getting "kitted up" ... harnesses and multiple pully's and ropes ... (and a hard hat and gloves that one could land wild birds on) ...

The ziplining goes along a steel cable about 30m up from the ground within the canopy layer of the trees. The platforms are constructed so they don't harm the tree in any way, but we're told are pretty safe!!
